Black History Month over a colourful print

This October, Research Business and Innovation (RBI) proudly commemorate Black History Month with the national theme: Reclaiming Narratives; Spotlighting Stories, Allegories and Histories.’ Throughout October, as part of UWE Bristol’s wide reach of events RBI will showcase and amplify the voices of leading Black figures from within UWE Bristol, sharing stories and insights that are crucial to our work.

Our aim is that through these themes, discussions, and shared resources, we not only honour Black History during October but also inspire ongoing reflection and growth well beyond the month. We value Black History, it is a vital part of our collective journey—one that continues to shape and influence our work long after the month ends.
