The UWE Bristol app has had a glow-up, with a fresh look, improved functionality and new features to help you navigate university life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s not just about aesthetics (though its new look is *chef\u2019s kiss emoji) – the new app has a whole range of improved features from enhanced accessibility – ensuring it is usable for everyone \u2013 to improved wayfinding – the app now fully incorporates the UWE Navigator platform to help you find specific rooms, on specific floors, at any of our campuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The app now has geolocation features, which means it will automatically change depending on which campus you\u2019re on. This means you\u2019ll only get information that\u2019s relevant to you, and where you\u2019re studying. If you move between campuses, it will automatically change to show you what events are happening on site, opening hours for catering outlets, and campus maps to help you make your way around whilst you\u2019re there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you\u2019re a brand geek like us, you\u2019ll notice the updated aesthetic aligns with our other digital platforms, such as MYUWE. So you can see how we\u2019re working to make sure you\u2019re well-supported throughout your student journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Improvements to the app have been made in response to your feedback. Our UX team met with students from across our campuses in focus groups and ran surveys, to make sure your thoughts and opinions were heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We know the app had become a bit, shall we say, stale..? And essentially just signposted you to the stuff you needed to know rather than providing a seamless, more useful experience. We hope you\u2019ll now agree it\u2019s looking and performing much better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
