The list is based on standardised citation metrics, considering factors such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Number of citations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>h-index (measuring productivity and citation impact)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-authorship-adjusted metrics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These rankings are drawn from data published in the Scopus database and reflect both lifetime and recent performance across 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, 31 UWE Bristol academics have been listed in the Stanford Top 2% rankings, demonstrating the global significance of their contributions to research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/topscinet.com\/university_profile\/University%20of%20the%20West%20of%20England\/?stype=single_year\">View UWE\u2019s profile on the TopSciNet platform<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re proud to share that Associate Professor Victoria Clarke has been named in the Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers 2025 list &#8211; an achievement that places her among the top 0.1% of researchers globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This prestigious recognition is awarded to researchers whose published work ranks in the top 1% by citations for their field and publication year, based on data from the Web of Science Core Collection over the past eleven years.
