A year in conversation, connection and compassion<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What started as a conversation between two colleagues has grown into a podcast series that\u2019s now carved out its own place in UWE Bristol\u2019s health and care landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across 10 episodes, Let\u2019s Talk Health and Care<\/em> – \u00a0hosted by Professor Peter Brindle and Professor Marc Griffiths – \u00a0has taken listeners from 3D-printed food to neighbourhood health hubs, from smart socks to social justice. Along the way, it\u2019s offered something rare in the world of systems, strategies and innovation: the human stories behind the headlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past year, the Let\u2019s Talk Health and Care<\/em> podcast has given us a window into the people, projects and partnerships that are driving meaningful change across health and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through conversations with founders, clinicians, academics and community leaders, we\u2019ve explored how lived experience is fuelling innovation and how services are being reshaped not just around need, but around place, trust and compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across the series, we\u2019ve seen how the podcast aligns with UWE Bristol\u2019s civic mission and the ICA\u2019s core values, bringing research and real life closer together:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
