It\u2019s an\u00a0<strong>X Factor-style competition<\/strong>\u00a0between engineers, where the students are the judges.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-374 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uwe.ac.uk\/engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2018\/11\/Ask-chat-vote.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"103\" height=\"143\" \/>Students challenge the engineers over fast-paced online live\u00a0<strong>CHAT<\/strong>s. They\u00a0<strong>ASK<\/strong>\u00a0the engineers anything they want, and\u00a0<strong>VOTE<\/strong>\u00a0for their favourite engineer to win a prize of \u00a3500 to communicate their work with the public.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/about.imanengineer.org.uk\/category\/evaluation\/\">Evaluation<\/a> shows that\u00a0taking part in\u00a0<em>I\u2019m an Engineer<\/em>\u00a0helps students to improve their understanding of what engineering is and what engineers do.
