Running from 5<sup>th<\/sup>-9<sup>th<\/sup> November, the campaign aims to change perceptions of engineering among young people, their parents and teachers and to inspire future engineers.<\/p>\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yearofengineering.gov.uk\/\">Year of Engineering<\/a>, #TEWeek18 is focusing on topics young people care about &#8211; including saving the environment, animal welfare, staying safe, health and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of resources to support you with joining in on the Tomorrow&#8217;s Engineer Week 2018\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomorrowsengineers.org.uk\/tomorrows-engineers-week-2018\/\">website<\/a>, including toolkits for schools, employers and engineers and more, social media templates, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomorrowsengineers.org.uk\/tomorrows-engineers-week-2018\/engineer-on-a-mission\">Engineer on a Mission<\/a> videos like the one below.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"REAL JOBS: Serena is on a mission to prevent plastics from entering our rivers and oceans\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1YDlvWnhh78?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>These are all available to access free of charge and it&#8217;s not too late to get involved!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow&#8217;s Engineers Week 2018 is underway!
