{"id":1661,"date":"2020-01-07T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-07T09:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.uwe.ac.uk\/engineering\/?p=1661"},"modified":"2019-12-10T17:41:56","modified_gmt":"2019-12-10T17:41:56","slug":"women-in-research-want-a-mentor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uwe.ac.uk\/engineering\/women-in-research-want-a-mentor\/","title":{"rendered":"Women in Research &#8211; want a mentor?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2020\/21 Women Researchers Mentoring Scheme (WRMS) is now open for applications <strong>for both mentees and mentors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The WRMS\u00a0scheme aims to promote and facilitate professional development for women in academic or researcher roles at UWE Bristol, helping them reach senior research roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each mentee will be matched to a mentor, male or female\u00a0and training will be provided to all new participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WRMS is co-chaired by Dr Laura Fogg-Rogers in EDM and coordinated by Fiona Watt (Fiona.watt@uwe.ac.uk).
