As well as recruiting more\nwomen into STEM, we also need to think about retaining our talented workforce.\nMentoring Schemes can help to do just that, with research showing that\nmentoring from other experienced women is a key factor in creating a welcoming\nworkplace culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This\nevent brings together our leading players in women&#8217;s mentoring across the West\nof England, to explore how we can support each other and learn from best\npractice.&nbsp;Organised by UWE Bristol&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uwe.ac.uk\/engineering\/women-like-me\/\">Women Like&nbsp;Me <\/a>project\nfor engineering mentoring, the network also connects with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisecampaign.org.uk\/\">Women in Science and Engineering\nBristol<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wes.org.uk\/events\/wes-centenary\">the Women&#8217;s\nEngineering Society centenary<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wes.org.uk\/events\/wes-centenary\">Curiosity Connections\nBristol<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event includes lunch and a keynote talk on women&#8217;s mentoring, followed by a workshop to develop further connections between mentoring schemes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/women-like-me-boosting-mentoring-for-women-in-stem-in-the-west-of-england-tickets-57786741700\">sign up<\/a> to come and join us!
