Charity work is something I would reccomend to anyone to get involved in. It's great for your Curriculum Vitae and it's one of the best things you can do to make yourself feel like a good, happy person. Aristotle certainly would of advised it!
This week is One World Week, with many charities such as Oxfam taking the opportunity to erect a stand and promote themselves. Amongst all this was the lesser known
READ International charity stand, for which I am the Marketing Director. Today we raised a whopping £81.43 via a home-made cup cake sale.
Why am I telling you all this? I wanted to show you that while University is often seen as incredibly hard work with a side order of life experience, there are some genuinely worthwhile things you can do with your time outside of lectures that are rewarding in more ways than one. Below is a sample of some of the better cakes on display today, along with a group shot of us at our stand!
