Between the 18th and 27th October 2011, the UWE Research Repository Team will be running drop-in sessions at a range of campuses, on various days and times. See below for when these are taking place. If you're a member of staff or a student at UWE feel free to come along and ask us questions. There's no need to sign up, and we'll have a laptop or two with us in case you want to look at, or show us, anything on the repository itself.
The dates and times are:
Tuesday 18th October, 10am-1pm
Frenchay: S block corridor (outside the Street Cafe)
Monday 24th October, 2pm-4.30pm
Bower Ashton: Room 1F4
Tuesday 25th October, 9.30am-12 noon
St Matthias: Canon Kitson Common Room
Wednesday 26th October, 2.30pm-4pm
Frenchay: R block atrium
Thursday 27th October, 12 noon - 2pm
Glenside: Library corridor
Open Access week will take place on the 24th to the 30th of October 2011. We will be posting details of OA week activities, the main focus of which will be a lunchtime event on Wed 26 Oct. There will also be information on drop-in sessions we are running at all campuses, and details on a competition for whoever uploads the most full text items during the week. During Open Access Week itself, this blog will feature one interview per day with a UWE academic who advocates the repository and its benefits.
