We are nearly at the end of November, and it's been a fairly productive month.

First of all, we are very pleased to announce that Liz Holliday has been appointed as our full time Project Officer. Liz works in the library service at UWE, but has a background in IT project work, and brings with her a good mix of technical and customer focused skills and experience. We are sure she will be a real asset to the project, and are looking forward to working with her.

Interviews for the Project Manager post are taking place over the next few days, and we hope to be able to make an announcement about this early next week.

In terms of progressing the project, we have had a very positive meeting with Olena Doran and Pam Moules, the directors of the research centres involved in the project, to identify suitable research projects for inclusion. A participant information sheet  has been drafted, and will shortly be sent to relevant researchers inviting them to join the project. Initial feedback from informal talks looks very promising.

We have been working on our poster for the Programme Launch in Nottingham next week, and are looking forward to meeting colleagues from other projects there. We have also added an article to Library Life, an internal dissemination tool here, giving some more detail about the project and what we hope to achieve.
