This project, Managing Research Data: a pilot project in Health and Life Sciences, is funded by JISC under the Managing Research Data Programme

The project puts UWE on the path to improving the management and curation of research data. Focusing on two research centres in the faculty of Health and Life Sciences- the Centre for Research in Biosciences, and the Centre for Health and Clinical Research – the project aims to develop systems and procedures to make the process of data management at UWE simple and effective. In the longer term, findings from the project will help to inform data management across the University.

The project also feeds into the wider JISC and HEI communities. Project reports and outputs, including any training and guidance materials, will be available for re-use across the HEI sector.

We shall be using this blog to let you know what’s happening with the project as it progresses. In the meantime, please have a look at the project website.
