Bristol & Bath by Design

Posted by Verity Lewis | 0 comments

UWE Bristol, Bath Spa University and Bristol University are collaborating to undertake a comprehensive analysis of the value and impact of design in the city region in an 18-month project funded by the Design Council and the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).

Bristol & Bath by Design will create a regionally based team of experienced design researchers with extensive knowledge of design in the region. The universities bring further academic standing in related key areas: statistics, creative-sector microbusiness, and business development.

We are now recruiting the research team that will be managed by investigators from UWE’s Bristol School of Art & Design and Bristol Business School, University of Bristol’s Department of Mechanical Engineering and Bath Spa University’s Bath School of Art & Design.

Bristol & Bath by Design offers the rare opportunity to work on an exciting and challenging multi-disciplinary project with wide reaching benefits for the region, academic and appropriate industrial communities.
