 Summer Courses in 2013

The Centre for Fine Print Research summer professional development programme is now open for bookings. This year we are offering some extra special new classes including: Artist's Book Week - a pick ‘n’ mix bookmaking week which offers participants the chance to dip into letterpress, relief print, rubber stamps, pop-ups and much, much more. Photogravure - an early photographic printing process with a modern twist, prints made by this method can be stunning. Water-based Screen Printing and Ceramic Transfer - a hands-on intensive week of non-toxic screenprinting for transfer to ceramics. Fine Art Black & White Inkjet Printing – an introduction to the tools and techniques Adobe Photoshop has to offer for black and white image enhancement. And Creative Print and Cut –learn how to accurately print and cut complex shaped prints, quickly, easily from a single artwork file for window display vinyls, floor graphics and prints for walls.

All UWE staff, current UWE students and UWE alumni are entitled to the concessionary rate but book early to avoid disappointment.  Courses take place at the Bower Ashton Campus.
