UWE's Dr Paul Laidler has curated an exhibition of fine art print editions based on his research at the Centre for Fine Print Research that has enabled the development of a specialist print editioning practice to explore the nascent field of digital print publishing within the the Contemporary print market. Funded by the University as part of a SPURS 3 (Early Research Career Grant) to be shown at the Multiplied Contemporary Art in Editions Fair, Christie’s, 85 Old Brompton Road, London, 12-15 October 2012. The exhibition will include new works by staff from the department of Creative Industries including Arthur Buxton, Richard Falle, Roy Voss and Peter Walters.
Multiplied 2012 features a carefully curated selection of forty-one contemporary galleries from around the world. Amongst this year's exhibitors are leading tertiary fine art print facilities, The LeRoy Neiman Centre for Print Studies, Columbia University New York, and UWE's Centre for Fine Print Research.
