The Centre for Fine Print Research (CFPR), part of the Department of Art and Design at UWE, has been cited in a report by Research Councils UK and Universities UK to mark Universities Week 2011.
The report,
Big Ideas for the Future, uncovers the top 100 pieces of research that will shape our future. The CFPR is referred to twice in the report, in relation to how research can inform and enhance the commercial sector by working in partnership with business organisations.

Our Fashion students are having a very busy week indeed. Fresh from their sell out catwalk shows at RWA last weekend they are showing at
London Graduate Fashion Week from 5-8 June at Earls Court. Graduate Fashion Week is a scouting destination for many of the top names in the industry and a fantastic showcase for graduating students. One to watch is Nicola Chisnall, Fashion/Textile Design student, who has been getting plenty of press in the run up to the shows with her garments featuring in Disorder Magazine, Metro and on
Handbag.com.
You can see a selection of garments, textiles and 2D fashion illustration and styling work by graduating Fashion students at
UWE's Art Design and Media Degree Show, 11-16 June 2011.
